Come join Southern and Seacoast NH NEMBA chapters as we get together for a Social Women's Ride at Bear Brook on Saturday May 7th at 3pm!
Purpose
Let's celebrate women mountain bikers on International Mountain Biking Day! Come join us at Bear Brook State Park at 3pm. We will leave from the hiker/biker lot. Look for the white Toyota Tacoma.
Role
This will be a social pace of 8-10 miles. If there is enough interest, we can split up into different groups. Check Facebook for cancellations due to rain. There is no rain date.

Helmets are required, all abilities are welcome and you do not need to be a NEMBA member to join us.

Novice women’s ride series is a no drop, no pressure, fun ride!
Ride requires a good working bike capable of riding on hard packed dirt and a helmet.
Terrain includes fire roads and single track trails with roots and rocks.
Distance varies from 4 miles to 8 miles depending on the group and mix of terrain, estimate1.5 to two hour ride.
Bring hydration as it gets warms as the ride goes on.
Try to get there a bit early so that we can get the ride off by 5:30PM
Ride event will be posted on the NS NEMBA Facebook page, NSNEMBA app or contact Jayne O’Leary.
Please make sure that you've signed NEMBA's Annual Waiver before you attend your first ride.
You don't have to be a NEMBA member to join us..
This women’s ride series is geared toward intermediate riders who are comfortable mountain biking on single track trails.
There will be opportunities to stop and session sections of trail for encouragement of skill advancement.
It is a no drop ride with the pace set by the group.
Terrain, speed and distance are intermediate level
Distance varies, ride through to sunset
The rides will start at 5:30 PM, but try to be there by 5:15 so that we can get rolling on time.

During our rides, we will be exploring the trails in Sherborn and the surrounding area.
Throughout the summer we will include opportunities to session skills, learn a bit about trail-side repairs and how to care for your bike off the trail, and meet other local riders!
To participate you will need a mountain bike in good working condition, a helmet (preferably one less than 5 years old), a light (just in case it gets dark at the end), water bottle or hydration pack, and a sense of humor and adventure.
Rides will be held every other Wednesday and are subject to change/cancellation due to weather, trail conditions, etc.
Organized in partnership with the New England Mountain Bike Association Blackstone Valley Chapter.
You don't have to be a member of NEMBA to attend.
All participants must sign the 2022 Annual Liability Waiver – you only need to do it once and it covers you for all NEMBA events during 2022!

The ride will leave from the Outdoor Center at 9:00 AM. Try to get there by 8:45 so we can get the ride off on time.
Typically these rides last from 1 - 1.5 hours.
