During our rides, we will be exploring the trails in Sherborn and the surrounding area.
Throughout the summer we will include opportunities to session skills, learn a bit about trail-side repairs and how to care for your bike off the trail, and meet other local riders!
To participate you will need a mountain bike in good working condition, a helmet (preferably one less than 5 years old), a light (just in case it gets dark at the end), water bottle or hydration pack, and a sense of humor and adventure.
Rides will be held every other Wednesday and are subject to change/cancellation due to weather, trail conditions, etc.
Organized in partnership with the New England Mountain Bike Association Blackstone Valley Chapter.
You don't have to be a member of NEMBA to attend.

Nobscot Hill is named for the high point in Middlesex County, located south of Route 20 in Framingham and Sudbury, with a wide variety of hiking and mountain bike trails. At the summit are various radio towers and a fire tower. Below the summit of Nobscot Hill is the Nobscot Scout Reservation (452 acres) which includes Tippling Rock, a popular viewing location. Surrounding the hill are other large parks and parcels of conservation land, including the Nobscot Conservation Land (118 acres), Callahan State Park (958 acres), the Sudbury Weisblatt Conservation Land, and Wittenborg Woods (83 acres),[2] which are connected by various hiking trails, including the Bay Circuit Trail.
Nobscot Hill consists of intermediate level single track, with extended climbs to the peak and long flowy descents that lead riders back to the lower trails and ready to ascend for another lap. Nobscot Hill has a few main climbing trails that lead you to the peak via The Gobbler and Haswell’s. Some of the most popular descents are Noblett, Tenacious Pine, and Welcome Back Carter. Additionally, riders can descend BCT-DH which finishes near the Brimstone Lane parking location, where riders can extend their ride through the Ford’s Folly Loop to visit a historic site of Sudbury https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/fords-folly-water-dam
Park Directions:
There are three main parking areas: Edgell Road in Framingham off Jethro Trail, Brimstone Lane in Sudbury, and Wayside Inn Rd in Sudbury. Brimstone Lane has the most parking and a hiking trail head, but no direct trail to the peak of Nobscot Hill so riders will typically have to climb Brimstone Lane to start. The parking lot on Edgell Road in Framingham is the most direct route to Mountain Bike Trails but has limited parking spaces. Additionally, a parking location on Wayside Inn Road allows indirect access to Nobscot via Wayside Trail.
Please Note: Mountain biking is NOT allowed on trails owned and maintained by the Nobscot Scout Reservation. Please refer to Trailforks for more information on Parking locations and trails allowed for mountain biking https://www.trailforks.com/region/nobscot-hill/
