Description

First in a series of trail education/work days. Meet at 8:00 for registration, coffee, and donuts. Instruction starts at 8:30 followed by trail work in group

Purpose

To educate riders on various trail building topics and skills.

To then apply those skills in practice rerouting a trail that has been under water for the past year because of beaver activity causing several subsequent braids from folks trying to stay dry.

Once rerouted, we will be able to use this trail as a connector to be able to extend an intermediate loop around the entire Hale property.

You will be part of a team of volunteers and assist with performing trail work.

Please be ready to cut brush and move dirt and rocks.

We will provide tools.

Best to bring your own Gloves and glasses but we will have some if needed.

Be prepared to do some bushwacking.

Long Pants and work boots highly recommended.

Bring water and a snack. Also bug spray.
