SE MA NEMBA Trail Day @ Mine Brook

SE MA NEMBA @ Wildlands Trust Trail Project

We'll be continuing our efforts to construct & install  700  ft. of bog bridges on the Iron Mine Brook & Chapman's Landing trail system from 9am to 1 pm on Saturday December 4^th. 

This property is located at the end of Indian Head Dr. in Hanover where you will find the parking area for the property.  

We'll be both constructing and carrying the heavy bog boards in teams out to marked locations on the trail system. 

Please be prepared to carry heavy weight on uneven ground. 

After the recent Nor'easter there maybe some trail cleanup as well.   

Please bring gloves, safety glasses, a drill if you have one, loppers, handsaw, water, and snacks. 

Please also wear long pants and close toed sturdy shoes. 

This project is weather dependent so check back on this page before the date.

Youdo not have to be a member of NEMBA or Wildlands Trust to take part.

You just have to want to make our trails better.

   But everone must sign the Annual Waiver if they ahven't already done so.

Note:  This event is deer shotgun season. So everyone is encouraged to wear orange.
