Hello friends of Pemi-Valley NEMBA!
We are excited the venue for our Fall meeting will be The Last Chair restaurant at 6pm on Thursday, October 7th. We’ve reserved outdoor seating and a fire ring or two. We’ll treat guests to pizza, so bring your appetites. This is an important gathering of our tribe with fun & informative topics on the agenda:
- A toast to our outgoing – and much appreciated – chapter president Kevin Luce (fun!)
- A new multi-use trails organization in Plymouth (more fun!)
- Updates on Whitten Woods and a new project (or two) in the pipeline (even more fun!)
- Elect our next chapter president (kinda fun after a beer or two!)
So we really need you to rally for this one. Bring a friend if you’ve got one. Bring two if you’re really popular. Forward this email to others in our realm who ride the mechanical steed. If you enjoy MTB trails in our area, you have a stake in this!
Regarding electing our next chapter president, Slade and I are assembling a slate of candidates. If you have a nominee, please forward their name and contact info to us ASAP (suggestion: check with them first... or not LoL). We’ll reach out to all nominees and make sure they’re game before adding them to the slate. Please consider yourself for this opportunity, too. You’ll have plenty of help and this is a really exciting time to take the reins.
Please let us know if you have any extreme pizza preferences. In fact, please RSVP with # of guests so we know how much pizza to order!
We hope to see you at The Last Chair for a fun evening to celebrate our MTB community!
